The Tempest - Great News!
Hello Fans!
For those of you have not seen The Tempest or could not get tickets -- Guess What? A new show has been added for Monday, September 13 at 2:00 p.m. Tickets go on sale almost immediately. Get yours before it's too late! A spectacular show which is extremely accessible. Christopher Plummer is 80 yrs, old. Don't miss this opportunity to see a living legend live on the Festival stage!!!! I saw it from the last row of the balcony from the far left . It was great from there. Now, that's a great show!

Dangerous Liaisons
I went in believing that this show would either be a "hit" or a "flop". I'm ecstatic to report that this show is a "hit"!!! This cat and mouse sexual power play is hot! Brilliant performances by Seana McKenna and Tom McCamus, former lovers and now rivals, Sara Topham as their innocent prey, and a strong supporting cast of fellow degenerates. A gentle warning-- don't bring your wife and mother-in-law to this one. The sex scenes are fairly explicit although there is no real nudity. A modern spin on an old classic, this production is sure to draw rave reviews as the sleeper hit of the season.

Jacques Brel
Jacques Brel is one big WOW! I had seen a production of it at the Grand Theatre in London, Ontario many, many years ago and remembered very little other than a couple of the more popular tunes and that the songs conveyed almost every human emotion. With the talents of four fabulous vocalists, four fabulous musicians and brilliant staging, the timeless works of Jacques Brel truly come to life. Brent Carver's rendition of "Amsterdam" alone is worth the price of admission. This show is a happening in time. My advice to you -- don't miss it!
p.s. IF I can still get tickets I plan to see it a second and possibly a third time...
